GlobalConnect Dealer or GM Employee

Before logging in as GM Employee, please ensure you have already requested and approved access thru https://mygmaccess.identitynow.com/ using the instructions "Employee Access Request".

  1. Go to the GM MyAccess Application
  2. Navigate to Request Center
    • From the top navigation menu, click Request Center.
  3. Select Who You Are Requesting For
    • Under Who Are You Requesting For?, choose Request for Yourself.
  4. Find Entitlements
    • In the left navigation panel, under Access Items, click Entitlements.
  5. Request the Appropriate Groups

    ⚠️ Important: All users must request two entitlements —a corporate/general entitlement and a role-specific entitlement. Requesting only one will not provide full access.


    Note: If you request the Contributor/Asset Uploader entitlement, you do not need to also request the Consumer Functional entitlement.


    • Required for ALL users → request:
      • 241331-DAM-GM-Corporate-General
    • Then, request the entitlement based on your role:
      • If you are a General User (this applies to most employees) → request:
        • 241331-DAM-Consumers-Functional
      • If you are an Asset Uploader → request:
        • 241331-DAM-Contributors-Functional
  6. Library Groups (Only for Asset Uploaders)

    Asset Uploaders must also request the library group(s) relevant to their work. Examples include:


    • 241331-DAM-GM-Design-Producers
    • 241331-DAM-GM-Energy-Producers
    • 241331-DAM-GM-Corporate-Producers
